1. Go to the course area where the assignment link is located (i.e.: 'Coursework' or 'Week 1' folder)
2. Read over the assignment instructions and download any files/assignment prompts provided by your instructor.
3. Click on the assignment title.
   
   
   
4. Follow the assignment instructions to either a) Browse My Computer and attach your assignment file or b) Write a Submission on screen.
   


5. If your instructor is using a rubric, click View Rubric to read the grading criteria before submitting.
6. Click Submit.
   
7. A purple bar will appear at the top of the screen letting you know your assignment has submitted.

Blackboard (Faculty) - Assignments: Download Assignment Files

This document provides an overview of how to download assignment files submitted by the students.

You may wish to download all of your student files at one time when grading. It is also a good practice to keep copies of student assignments for future reference.

1. From the Control Panel, click on Grade Center, then click on Full Grade Center.
   
2. From the column header of the assignment, click the down arrow to expand the menu and click Assignment File Download.
   
   
   
3. Click the individual boxes for each student, or if you want to download all the files, click the box to the left of the Name heading to select all.
   
4. Click Submit.
   
5. From the Download Assignment page, right click on Download assignments now link. From the menu, select 'Save target as..' or 'Save As..'
   This will download and save a .zip file. Save it to your Desktop.
   
6. To access the files, double click on the .zip file on your computer and Extract the files.
